
Once a year, the NGO Solidarity with Latin America (SAL) in Spain organizes a Meeting with all its Volunteers. People from Everywhere Participated: Bilbao, Portugalete, Madrid, Santo Domingo de la Calzada, Nanclares de la Oca, Aguilar de Campo, Valladolid, and Zamora.

That Event provided an opportunity to Meet, Discuss, Share, and Better Understand the Diverse People who make up and are involved in Solidarity with Latin America. During the Meeting held last Saturday, March 22nd 2025, in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, we had the opportunity to speak with Brother Miguel Villacé, who was currently in the City of Larantuka, Indonesia. He shared with us his experience as a Missionary for 35 years. He also informed us of the Projects the Brothers are carrying out there and thanked us for SAL’s efforts to Finance the Roofing of the School Playground.

Meeting with Elisa
When the Internet Connection with Indonesia was established, we were able to Meet and Listen to the Testimony of Elisa (FISC Volunteer – Company of Mary), who shared her 6-Month Volunteer Experience in Timor-Leste and her Upcoming Experience in Peru.
In the afternoon, we met with Brother Fernando Mussi, who contacted Solidarity with Latin America to request funding for the San Damián Center Project in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, Argentina. He introduced us to the Project and provided Information on other possible Resources available in Argentina.

To conclude the day, the last Internet Connection was made with El Alto (Bolivia), where Carlos Serrano, a Volunteer from Zamora (Spain), was currently finishing his Five-Week Experience, completed by his Colleague Ana Diaz-Cano, who was there last September.
