SOUTHERN TOGO: MENNAISIAN PILGRIMAGE OF COMMUNITIES

Arrival of the Brothers of the 2 Communities (Lomé and Aneho) on the Shores of the Lagoon

On Saturday, March 8th, the Communities of Southern Togo (Lomé and Aného) made their Mennaisian Pilgrimage to the Togoville Shrine at the foot of Our Lady of the Lakes. Three Highlights marked this Half-day of Prayer.

The first Highlight was the walk from the Sanctuary to the Lagoon during which the Brothers meditated on the Joyful Mysteries of Our Lord Jesus while praying for the different Intentions of the Congregation and the Saint Paul District of West Africa.

The second time was spent in Contemplation and Meditation on the Shores of the Lagoon while enjoying the Fresh Air and the Light Breeze of the Lagoon Waves.

Finally, the Third Highlight was the Reading and Sharing of an excerpt from the Circular “Mais priez donc” by Brother Bernard GAUDEUL, a moment of sharing that was very rich and profound in its content. That Final Highlight concluded with the Midday Service and the Angelus Prayer.

That Intense Time of Prayer ended with a Fraternal Sharing of the Meal brought by each of the two Communities in a Joyful Atmosphere.
