Summer Camp in Huatusco, “Noah’s Ark”
The Summer Camp had started, Noah’s Ark “Tahiti 2024” was a New Adventure with the children of Huatusco and the surrounding areas.
Mardi 23 juillet, l’équipe d’animateurs, qui compte cette année 100 jeunes, va recevoir les enfants pour l’ouverture du camp. Près de 400 enfants sont inscrits.
Tuesday July 23rd, the Team of Animators, which this year includes 100 young people, would receive the children for the Opening of the Camp. Nearly 400 children are registered.
Two Groups of Animators would visit the Outskirts. More or less 30 minutes’ drive from Huatusco, there are villages where the Mennaisian Family lead Youth Ministry at the end of the Week. Local children await Games and Activities prepared by the Rural Intervention Team.
In the Morning, nearly 70 children received the message which they communicated to their families to participate in the Activities. Some young people who have already attended Youth Retreats with the Mennaisians have decided to collaborate and encourage the children of their villages. Beautiful Voluntary Gesture of Service to little ones! In the Afternoon would be an experience that had been repeated since last year. The Publicity was done, and what’s more, the Events are free!
Brother Mario Couture accompanied the two Groups and Brother Gabriel Cabal, in the Afternoon, in order to continue the links with the village Tomatlancillo, which he visited for the Holy Week Mission last March.
Three Weeks of Discovery of the Island of Tahiti through Games, Crafts, Dances, Dynamics, and of course through the support of the Animators, the children’s big brothers. The Last Saturday, with one voice, full of Strength, Heart and Enthusiasm, the young people would proclaim the Leader’s Oath.
