LAITY AND MENNAISIAN FAMILY. The Chapter mandates the International Commission to work on a new reference text

The new text proposal on the Mennaisian Family was presented by Bro. Guillermo DAVILA and Laura JOSE.

To date, the reference text of the Mennaisian Family has been worked out, starting from the international assemblies of 2008 and 2015, and taken up by the General Council.

Since the survey conducted last spring on the realities lived by the Mennaisian laity around the world, the document has been enriched by the work of the International Commission of the Mennaisian Family.

This reference text has been added to in the form of a new part comprising the following themes:

+ The Mennaisian Family in Church / Composition of the Mennaisian Family / Paths of Life / Diversity of the members

+ The Lay Mennaisian / A vocation / A heart moulded by the Spirit / Image of Jesus, Master in the midst of the little ones / Artisan of communion / Institutional commitments of the Lay Mennaisian

+ Family Organization / Animation Commission / International Commission of the Mennaisian Family.

This Tuesday, the text was presented by Bros Guillermo DAVILA and Laura JOSE. During the meetings in commissions, then during the plenary assembly, many contributions, reactions, comments and suggestions were formulated.

In the end, two votes were held on Wednesday:
