INAUGURATION. The new La Mennais d’Ogaro School Complex – North Togo – includes a Primary and a Secondary School.

Now it has been done! Postponed since 2018 for safety reasons and because of the pandemic COVID-19, the Blessing and the Inauguration of the La Mennais d’Ogaro School Complex in Battebangbang, North Togo, was finally held on Saturday, October 29th ,2022.

Mgr. Dominique GUIGBILE, Bishop of the Diocese of Dapaong cut the Official ribbon.

The huge Assembly was gathered around Bishop Dominique GUIGBILE of the Diocese of Dapaong, Bro Jean Baptiste NDIAYE, Brother Visitor of the Saint Paul District and his Council, the Diocesan Director of Catholic Education and the Brothers of our three Communities in North Togo.

With the help of the Mennaisian Solidarity Association Assific

Priests, Men and Women Religious, Political, Administrative and Customary authorities, the population of Ogaro and of course Teachers, Pupils, Parents of pupils of said Complex and other guests were also present.

The Blessing was followed by a Eucharistic Celebration.

The new equipment is very functional.

In his welcoming address, Bro Éric ANITE, Director of the Secondary School thanked the NGO ASSIFIC, the main partner of the Institute that supports it in its various works and especially in the realization of this heritage. He also thanked the Superior General of the Brothers and his Council, the Sisters of Nazareth and Sister Marie Gloire, with her team.

The La Mennais complex has 437 students at Primary school  and 161 students at Secondary school , for a total of 598 students.
