“Sunday evening, March 12th ,” said Sister Louise Touchette, Superior General of the Daughters of Providence of Saint-Brieuc and usually present in Nebbi – with the exception of trips to visit the Sisters in France-England-Canada – “we received this confirmation from our Bishop of Nebbi, as we were finishing our visit with Sister Huguette Provost to the Sisters of France and were in Saint-Brieuc.
Sister Louise Touchette, Superior General of the Daughters of Providence, welcomed the News and addressed a message to all the Sisters of the Congregation.
“The commitments of the Sisters of Providence of the Community of Nebbi – Daughters of Providence of Nebbi will be celebrated on March 25th 2023, on the Feast of the Annunciation!”
A long-awaited Event
| We can sing the Magnificat loudly! For the Sisters of Nebbi, this is indeed an event that has been awaited and desired for several months and will be Celebrated that day. The three Second-year Novices, Cissy, Gloria and Vicky, will commit for one year by Private Vows: They are Sisters Felicity Mudondo, Loice Emmanuella Otyeka, Maria Amony, Sabina Namutali. On Thursday, March 23rd 2023. the whole Community will have a day of Recollection. Each one will take a little respite in her activities, to prepare her heart to live this gift of herself and to receive all the Graces that the Lord prepares for her. |
