Culiprán, Chile: Meeting of the “Lay Mennaisian Associates”

In a Climate of Fraternity, from November 1st to 3rd, at the Mennaisian College of Culiprán, the Lay Mennaisians of the Divina Providencia District, who carried out the Process of Vocational Discernment to be “Lay Mennaisians Associates”, completed their Formation Process by Celebrating their Public Commitment to join the Association “Lay Mennaisian Associates”.

Signature of the commitment on the altar, the “rock”, Jesus Christ, God alone

As Members of the Mennaisian Family, the Lay Mennaisian Associates (LAM) are committed to proclaiming the Gospel with Responsibility and Love by accompanying Children, Young People and the Entire Community, by living the Mennaisian Charism received by the Brothers of Christian Instruction of Ploërmel, by being an Angel, by reaching the frontier, by Weaving Bonds of Fraternity, by assuming the Pedagogy and Spirituality inherited from Juan María de La Mennais and Gabriel Deshayes, according to the Statutes of the Association.

Mennaisian Brothers and Lay, Associated…

With the Brothers who accompanied them in their Process of Discernment, the Lay Mennaisian Associates deepened their Framework of Life, based on Three Essential Axes:

  • A Spiritual Life centered on Christ.
  • A Life in Fraternal Communion.
  • A Life of Mission: “Image of Jesus among the Little Ones”.

During the Meeting, Measures were also taken to strengthen the Organization of the Association “Lay Mennaisian Associates” at the Level of the Divina Providencia District.

We entrust the Commitment of the New Lay Mennaisian Associates to the Maternal Intercession of the Virgin Mary, an example of Humility, Simplicity, Dedication and Service, to help them be Faithful to the Commitment they have freely made to Walk Ever More “in the Mennaisian Family”.
