“Enlightened by the Word of God and the Specific Features of the Mennaisian Charism, we were able to open Personal Spaces for Interiorization, Exchange of Experiences, Reflection, Prayer and Celebration. The Common Goal was the Updating of Our Way of Being Educators and the Reaffirmation of Our Vocation as Mennaisian Educators. Thus, filled with even more Hope, we wanted to continue Our Commitment, placing the CHILDREN and YOUNG PEOPLE that the Lord entrusted to us at the Center of Our Work, making Our Mennaisian Centers places where Miracles Happen.

As we exchanged and shared in Groups or in Assemblies, Bonds filled with Brotherhood and Joy were quickly formed between us all. Beyond Cultural Differences and the Diversity of Realities, we discovered that we all spoke the “Same Language”, clothed in an Identity that united us and made us feel like Members of the Same Family: the Mennaisian Family.
Clearly, in those days we begun to give Life to the New Theme of the Year: “A Transforming Encounter”; because through Prayer, Celebration and Fraternal Sharing, we encountered a Jesus who was close, Joyful, Merciful, who Loved us, Healed us and Embraced us, Transforming Our Lives and Inviting us to Transform the Lives of Others.

It was a Joy to know that we were part of a Community that supported us and showed us that we were not Alone. We left with an Overflowing Heart and a Burning Flame to meet the Challenges that the New School Year presented.
