Sadness and pain. On Wednesday, February 22nd, a 52-year-old Spanish Teacher from Collège-Lycée St Thomas d’Aquin in Saint-Jean-de-Luz was stabbed in Class by one of her 16-year-old student. These are the facts known since yesterday.
The Mennaisian family expresses its emotion here. Brothers and Lay people are doubly present in St-Jean-de-Luz and its surroundings. By Sainte Marie Secondary School of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the first place, whose “tutelle” is ensured by the Mennaisian Educational Network of France and the Community of Ciboure called Béthanie, located not far from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, composed of 8 Brothers.

The Brothers are present in the «Midi», in Ciboure-Béthanie since 1878 and were present in Saint-Jean-de-Luz from 1966 to 1999.
